Overview
Used for washing and sterilizing incoming empty jars or tin cans before filling.
The holder section can be easily and quickly adjusted for the diameters of the supplied jars or cans (51 mm–180 mm).
The KURTSAN Jar & Can Washer does not require a twisting mechanism to invert containers after entry and feed them onto the line with their openings facing upward at the exit. This process is performed by plastic holder chains.
Holder chains driven from both sides grip the jars and rotate them 180° upside down. Water and steam collectors located at the bottom of the machine provide washing and sterilization.
In addition, one blower supplies compressed air into the jars to help dry their interiors as much as possible.
The machine will have one link-belt conveyor for jar feeding at the inlet and one link-belt conveyor for jar discharge at the outlet.
Covers on different sides allow access to the machine, and mica glass windows are provided for viewing the machine interior.
Except for plastic components, the machine will be manufactured entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel.
The machine will have a total installed electrical power of 9 kW.
