Overview
The KURTSAN Olive Drying Oven features a multi-tier, pallet-type belt system. The specially shaped, perforated pallets facilitate moisture removal in an optimal manner.
Olives enter the oven on the upper belt, transfer from belt to belt, and exit in their final condition from the lowest belt.
The upper section of the oven is equipped with hot-air generators with steam heat exchangers. One moisture-exhaust fan is provided to discharge humid air generated in the upper section. A second pipe installed around the collector pipe used at the fan inlet provides fresh-air intake while also utilizing the discharged hot exhaust air, increasing overall efficiency and minimizing costs.
The oven system can be controlled through a PLC automation panel. All electrical and electronic equipment is controlled from the panel, and operating components or potential fault conditions can be monitored through simulation on the touchscreen.
All values—including temperature, humidity, speed, and application recipes for different products—can be entered and stored on the screen. Internal oven ventilation is controlled by temperature and humidity sensors connected to the automation panel.
At the oven discharge, products are removed by one goose-neck-type product discharge elevator. The oven discharge elevator belt is a food-grade, easy-to-clean, durable modular-type belt.
The oven is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel sheet, pipe, profiles, and materials.
